Are you looking for Alcuris?

We’re still here, we’ve just found a new home for our products (Alcuris, Memo and Connect) with Access Assure.

As the challenges of maintaining quality care provision continue to build, Access Assure sits at the centre to prevent, monitor, and react to care needs as they change. Providing GPs, District Nurses, Care Providers and loved ones the visibility they need to deliver better preventative and proactive person-centred care.

Our technology enabled care ecosystem goes further than just a digital social alarm, it combines traditional reactive alarm functionality with the proactive digital monitoring of daily living activities. This solution provides continuous data capture and analysis for both clinical consultants and care providers, aggregating the data collected and transforming it into actionable insight.

The Assure ecosystem addresses a key challenge within the current social care system to make a real difference to the lives of people who receive care, their families, and the providers in the wider care system.

The Access Care Ecosystem

With the Access Assure ecosystem we have helped over 20 organisations to deliver a proactive approach to care. Too often providers and carers have had to react to events when an incident occurs. The problem with this reactive approach is that the individual is often too close to the crisis point and at this late point interventions are more limited, often more costly, and offer less choice and control for the individual.

We want to change this experience and improve outcomes through a proactive and preventative model to identify when people are at risk before anything critical takes place. Our digital telecare therefore aims to:

  • Provide independence through supporting people at home for as long as possible
  • Provide positive reassurance to family, friends, and carers
  • Join up data to provide insight on wellbeing to enable a preventative approach to care and improve care planning, care reviewing and care delivery

Providing certified Technology Enabled Care (TEC) quality

Our digital telecare solutions have been TEC Quality Certified since 2019. This certification means that our products meet a set of outcome-based standards set by TSA, the industry, and advisory body for Technology-Enabled Care in the UK.

With this being the only UKAS accredited scheme in the UK for Technology-Enabled Care, this means that our Assure ecosystem meets their 10 Common Standards which concentrate on quality, safety, innovation and continuous improvement.

Our digital telecare software

Our digital telecare solutions work alongside formal health and support services, long-term care, and the work of caregivers. This helps reduce isolation as well as enable them to maintain or improve their safety, wellbeing, and independence by:

  • Enhancing confidence and quality of life and promoting autonomy in their daily living, maintaining the ability to remain at home
  • Help manage potential risks around the home, reducing accidents and falls, and assure family and carers, reducing the burden placed on carers
  • Increasing choice, safety, independence, sense of control and improving support for people with long-term health conditions
  • Simplify communication by enabling carers to be on-hand and assist when necessary instead of providing round-the-clock, one-on-one supervision

Home monitoring

Assure is a digital telecare platform for consumers, putting the individual and family at the centre.

Through providing unobtrusive home monitoring the solution keeps you up to date with the day-to-day activity of your loved one, with one of the most advanced social alarms in the UK.

In a matter of 14 days Assure will learn what’s normal and will let you know when anything out of the ordinary happens.

Currently the UK’s ageing population is growing more and more each year. Almost 11 million adults aged 65 and over are living with more than one chronic condition. It is expected that the elderly monitoring market will be worth $6.04 billion by 2030.

We make sure our digital telecare not only benefits the end-user and their families, but their community, clinicians, and the NHS as a whole to help manage the increasing demand better. We are aware of the challenges when providing telehealth to older adults and know how best to overcome them across the care continuum.

Analogue vs Digital Telecare

Currently there are 1.7 million people relying on telecare services in the UK. Many analogue alarm services are becoming less reliable and we have seen a rise in alarm call attempts failing.

By 2025 all analogue telephone services will be switched off. The need to make the digital switchover is imminent. Digital telecare services rely on data packets being sent over the digital network instead of the traditional analogue methods.

We are aware of the transition from analogue to digital telecare and we have experience in knowing how best to implement the digital switchover with minimal disruption.

Telehealth

The demand for telehealth services has rose significantly since the pandemic. Telehealth services can be beneficial in a variety of ways whether it’s a virtual visit, an online messaging service, or helping an individual manage their condition better in a virtual ward, these telehealth services can all help to increase patient engagement and patient education, as well as reduce cost.

Here our Assure ecosystem helps people recover in the most ideal place for them, their home. Our technology-enabled care offers a variety of functionalities, hubs, sensors, and wearables to help prolong independence, delay future care needs, and reduce hospital discharge delays to best suit your care needs and your community’s as they change.
