Business Development Executive

The Role

The successful candidate will be a key hire in developing our sales pipeline, using their own intuitive to make contacts and build relationships with local authorities and CCG’s.

Graduate / Junior software developer / app developer

The Role

We are looking to find a highly capable graduate/junior developer, who wishes to be part of a rapidly expanding start-up. We won’t be holding your hand throughout a 12 month graduate program – as there is no graduate program. However what we will be doing is surrounding you with highly capable senior software engineers, who will mentor, encourage, but challenge you.

Your work will matter, it will be valued and needed. We will expect you to be enthusiastic, and in return let you focus on an area that you want to pursue.

The initial role will be working with our lead app developer where you will learn React Native, however you will also have the opportunity to learn more about the server side operations, API’s and data science.

As a mobile app developer you will be responsible for designing and building meaningful and interactive mobile app experiences for healthcare applications. Your ability to quickly learn cutting edge technologies and frameworks and apply them to solve UX problems are in the centre of this role. You will be required to:

  • Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS using cutting edge cross platform development frameworks and libraries using React Native
  • Design UI/UX for mobile healthcare applications
  • Design and build prototypes to test architecture and system integrity

Personality and a willingness to throw yourself into the deep end is far more valued than current skill set.

 

Desirable skills:

  • A Computer Science or relevant degree
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming
  • The motivation to work proficiently both independently as well as part of a team

Java Developer

The Role

We are looking for highly motivated, talented and technically strong developers and engineers to join our rapidly growing technology company as part of our core team, working directly with the CTO & CEO. Firmware Engineer

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced embedded engineer to work with the CTO and external contractors to develop on our firmware and to create a range of proprietary algorithms around health monitoring.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of FreeRTOS
  • Experience with ARM Cortex m4 architecture
  • Experience with embedded signal processing algorithms
  • Knowledge of Zigbee, Z-wave, BLE and other wireless protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services

Data Scientist

The Role

Alcuris want to develop a team of data scientists, this role will be challenging, but hugely rewarding. By using large IoT datasets combined with health and lifestyle data you will help to build analytical tools, that provide insight and actionable information. The tools will enable our customers to help more individuals and their families, to plan care pathways and reduce the number of admissions to hospital.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience of IoT sensor networks in the health informatics sector
  • Extensive experience with behaviour modelling
  • Extensive experience with machine learning tools
  • Data visualisation tools – we currently use React with amsCharts and D3
  • Confident working with academics, and alongside university research teams
  • Self starter – they will be leading the Data Science Team
  • Confident working in a fast paced environment with timelines

Development Operations
The Role

The AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for making sure that the product is delivered rapidly into the hands of customers, in a secure, reliable manner. You will use the following, and be expected to have knowledge of:

  • Experience of designing and developing continuous integration build, test and deployment environments using modern cloud-based tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of core AWS technologies including:

Data Compliance and Regulations Officer

Role Description

The successful candidate will be a key hire in building the regulation and data compliance framework, working closely with the CTO and should have a solid track record in delivering quality pieces of work.

  • Providing data protection, GDPR and PECR advice, and implementing systems.
  • Maintaining a governance structure for managing personal data and privacy.
  • Drafting policies, procedures and guidance, or ensuring these are drafted.
  • Ensuring relevant training, awareness and communications are developed and implemented.
  • Working with the development team to ensure that the products meet the relevant standards.
  • Leading regulation approval processes.
